Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan mentioned that the state government is committed to provide right to live with dignity to the person standing in the last file of the society making a Poor Welfare Agenda on the birth anniversary of Great thinker and philosopher Pt. Deendayal Upadhaya. In this series, an ambitious scheme “Deendayal Antodaya Rasoi” scheme is being inaugurated to provide full meal at the rate of Rs. 5 to poor and labourers of the state. CM Shri Chouhan was inaugurating scheme at Gwalior today.
Union Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, State’s Minister for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Maya Singh, Minister for Higher Education Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya, Minister for Revenue Shri Umashankar Gupta, Minister for Public Works Shri Rampal Singh, Minister for Health Shri Rustam Singh, Mayor Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar beside public representatives and citizens were present in the programme.
Shri Chouhan said that the state government has taken a task to provide basic facilities like Roti, Kapda and Makaan to each poor. With the same spirit, the Deendayal Antodaya Rasoi schems is being inaugurated in all the districts simultaneously with the participation of the society. Under the scheme full meal at the rate of Rs. 5 will be provided to the poor labourers of rural areas. The state government is working speedily to provide land lease for housing to each person residing in villages and to provide houses to the houseless persons of cities.
Informing about the decisions taken in the feild of education, Shri Chouhan said that the state government will bear fee for pursuing medical, engineering, polytechnic and law etc. of those students who secured over 75 percent marks in class 12th examination. A provision of Rs. One thousand crore has been made in the budget regarding this, which will be increased every year. Furthermore, a provision of upto Rs. 5 thousand crore will be made under this head during the next five years. Moreover arrangement for fee of girls and boys will be made by the government to pursue studies abroad. He also informed about the welfare schemes being run by the state government towards health, employment and other fields.
Congratulating the Vaishya Mahasabha which is conducting the schemes in Gwalior, Shri Chouhan on behalf of the state government expressed gratitude towards the Mahsabha to become partner in the scheme.
Union Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar stated that several welfare programmes are being carried out in the state under the leadership of the CM Shri Chouhan. Now Deendayal Antodaya Rasoi scheme has also included in it. He congratulated CM Shri Chouhan for inaugurating the scheme.
Smt. Maya Singh said that this is the result of the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s diligence and devotion towards work that Madhya Pradesh has become a developing state emerging from the Bimaru Rajya status. Referring the innovations undertaken in the state, she said that all the urban bodies of the state have been linked to e-nagar palika. She further said that efforts will be made to ensure implementation of scheme at all places as per the expectations of the people.
CM Shri Chouhan Serves Food
After inaugurating the scheme, Shri Chouhan inspected the arrangements in the kitchen. CM Chouhan also served food to the people having meals on the occasion.
Inauguration of Water ATM
CM Shri Chouhan inaugurated the Water ATM being installed by the municipal corporation by cutting a ribbon. Water ATM will facilitate common men to obtain one litre cold water in just One rupee. Such ATM will be installed at 10 other places too.
Agreement Letter Given By Company for Landfill Site
26 clusters of urban bodies have been made under the integrated waste management scheme started by the state government. A decision to develop a combine regional landfill site has been taken including municipal corporations of Gwalior and Morena. CEO Eco Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. –Gurugram Shri Ankit Agrawal and Commissioner Municipal Corporation signed agreement letter in the presence of the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. An amount of Rs. 254 crore will be spent on construction of site to generate 10 M.W. electricity.
