Extend the public health services available in Gwalior April 27, 2018 / Government Ayurvedic Hospital, so that the needy patients can avail the services here. This instruction was given by Divisional Commissioner Mr. B.M. Sharma to the Principal of Ayurvedic College. The Divisional Commissioner arrived on Friday to inspect the Ayurvedic hospital.
Patients of Ayurvedic medicine will no longer need to wander around to get X-rays. Commissioner Shri Sharma inaugurated the new X-ray machine at Ayurvedic Hospital on Friday. During this, he also took a meeting of the Executive Committee of Ayurvedic College. Important decisions were taken in the meeting to strengthen the health services here.
The Divisional Commissioner took stock of all the departments of the Ayurvedic hospital, including all the 9 OPDs and Panchkarma, 14 departments. Also saw the units of operation theater and pathology etc. They talk about the condition of the services here, discussing with patients admitted in men and women's wards. The woman resident of Jivajiganj, Mrs. Shreefan Bano was happy with the treatment she got here. He told the commissioner that he was getting free medicines and food from the hospital.
In the meeting of the Executive Committee, Commissioner Shri Sharma gave special emphasis on preparing hostels for girls. He said, making available better facilities for girls is in the government's priorities, so there should be no slowness in this work. The Commissioner said that the old boys should secure the hostel and mobilize adequate infrastructure and allocate to the girls. It was informed in the meeting that due to the distance of the college campus, the hostel under construction for girl students is now being transformed into a hostel hostel.
According to the provisions of CCIM, permission was given to the Executive Committee to keep physiotherapist in Ayurvedic hospital and to keep one lab technician in body and body department. The commissioner also told the students of Ayurvedic College to arrange human bodies from the medical college for experimental studies of anatomy. Various construction works of the college were also reviewed in the meeting.
Other relevant officers, including Principal of Ayurvedic College, were present in the meeting.
