National flag of 100 feet high at Women's Sports Academy

Gwalior, on March 8, 2017, International Women's Day, the National Flag of 100 feet at Gwalior Women's Sports Academy was inaugurated by the Sports Minister of the State, Mrs Yashodhara Raje Scindia. The program was chaired by Mayor Mr. Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar. On this occasion women who did remarkable work in different areas of the society were also honored.

The program was honored by social worker Smt Manorama Latta, Dr. Sadia Malhotra, Ms. Manjulata Patankar and Major Asha Mathur, Ms. Tina Olyai, Doctor Dr. Jyoti Bindal, Dr. Veena Pradhan and Dr. Bhasin from the field of education.

President of Gwalior Area Authority, Mr. Rakesh Jadoun, Municipal Corporation Chairman Mr. Rakesh Mahaur, Former Mayor Smt. Review Gupta, Additional Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan, Former President of the Fair Mr. Anurag Bansal, Public Representative, Mr. Brijendra Singh Jadoun, President, Social Service and Sports Lovers were present.

State Sports Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that the state government is doing all possible work to promote sports. The players of Gwalior Women's Sports Academy have illuminated the country's name not only the state but also the country's name by its well-known game performance. He said that the girls who got admission in Sports Academy are very lucky, they have to illuminate the name of their parents, academy and state with their sports talent. Players should refine their talent with their full potential, the government is with them.

The Minister of Sports Smt. Scindia also honored the 10 women of Gwalior on this occasion who have presented an example of commendable work in society from their work. All these women were honored with shawl, shriff and symbols.
Presiding over the program, Mayor Mr. Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar said that players of Gwalior Sports Academy have illuminated the name of Akademi, Gwalior and the state with their sports skills.
The State Government is also doing every possible collaboration for the better sports. Women Academy of Gwalior has given Olympic players to 24 International, which is a remarkable achievement.
In the beginning of the program, the Sports Minister Smt. Scindia and the guests inaugurated the National Flag name Patitka above 100 feet. After this the national flag was hoisted. Police Band presented the tune of the National Song
