Gwalior 08 March 2018 / International Women's Day 8 March, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the expansion of the Beti Bachao-Beti Pachao scheme and the National Nutrition Mission in the country. He also addressed the countrymen on this occasion. All the people present on the occasion of International Women's Day in Gwalior Medical Auditorium heard a live telecast of the inauguration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
In the function organized at the Medical Auditorium of Gwalior, the people who did commendable work for daughter Bachao-Beti Teacho were honored in the brand ambassador of Gwalior Girls, Social Institutions and Government Organizations. The chief guest of the ceremony will be attended by District Panchayat President Smt. Manisha Bhujal Singh Yadav, Vice President Mr. Shantasharan Gautam, Collector Shri Rahul Jain, SP Dr. Ashish, CEO Zilla Panchayat Shri Shivam Verma, District Panchayat Member Shri Sardar Singh, Joint Director Female Child Development Shri S. K Sharma, Joint Director Social Justice Mr. Rajeev Singh, Women Empowerment Officer, Shri Shalin Sharma, CMHO, Dr. S. S. Jadoon Sahi Departmental officials and a large number of women were present.
District Panchayat President Smt. Manisha Bhujal Singh Yadav said that women have made their place in all areas with their ability and ability. Women work whole life for their children and family with selflessness. He said that women are not less than anyone, they have proved it. Smt. Manisha Yadav said that women should be happy while working with their abilities and ability, making their place in the society. He also bestowed on all women the best wishes of International Women's Day.
Collector Shri Rahul Jain said that the country has launched two big plans from today. National Nutrition Mission and Beti Bachao-Beti Pachao scheme has been expanded. Both of these schemes are very important and its implementation is effective, we all have responsibility for it.
Collector Shri Jain said that the task of getting rid of malnutrition is not possible only by government efforts. Society involvement in this work is essential. Anganwadi center is the first stair of malnutrition prevention. Anganwadi workers need to work honestly against malnutrition. He said that many programs have also been run for the prevention of malnutrition by Madhya Pradesh government. Malnutrition can be erased by better implementation of these programs. Health Department also has an important role to completely eliminate malnutrition. It is absolutely essential for all pregnant mothers and children to vaccinate on time.
Collector Shri Rahul Jain said that better implementation of Beti Bachao-Beti Teacho Abhiyan is being done in Gwalior. The brand ambassador of the district is also discharging its important role. He said that in order to save the daughters, we should also take special oversight on ultrasound centers. He emphasized on the importance of education, saying that illiteracy is the root cause of all the problems. There is a special emphasis on girl education. Several schemes have been conducted for the education of girls by the state government. All children should get the benefit of these schemes and make their own space by reading and writing the girls, we all should make special efforts.
Quiz program also happened
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Quiz Program was also organized in the Medical Auditorium. In this program, the Department of Revenue, Health Department, Women Child Development, Police and Municipal Corporation responded to the questions asked by women. Apart from this, information about government schemes was also given to women.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, guests were honored for active co-operation in the upliftment of all the brand ambassadors, NGOs, health workers and government employees of the city and the Beti Bachao-Beti Pachao scheme.
