2005 batch IAS officer Rahul Jain takes charge as 39th collector of Gwalior

Shri Rahul Jain took charge of Gwalior Collector

Gwalior June 26, 2017 / Shri Rahul Jain, senior official of the Indian Administrative Service, took over as the 39th Collector of Gwalior district on Monday. Mr. Jain received the charge from Additional Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan.
Mr. Rahul Jain is the 2005 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service. He was posted as the collector of Rewa district before Gwalior. Shri Jain has also been the Collector of Chhatarpur and Hoshangabad districts. He started his administrative responsibilities from the SDM post of Mahu Department of Indore district. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Sheopur District Panchayat. Mr. Rahul Jain originally received the education of the Chartered Accountant.
After receiving the charge of the collector, Mr. Rahul Jain got acquaintance with the senior administrative officials of the district and got information about the official functioning. Also inspect various offices and branches located in the Collectorate premises. On this occasion, additional collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan and Mr. Shivraj Verma, joint collector Mr. RC Mishra, SDM Shri Mahip Taraswati, Mr. Vinod Singh, Mr. Rinkesh Vaish and Mr. Vijay Raj were also present.
