In order to bring the projects involved in the proposed scheme for development of both the Smart City and Amrit scheme, especially for the development of Murar river, Collector Shri Rahul Jain and Municipal Commissioner Shri Vinod Sharma visited the city. He started his journey with the Ramauya Dam and after visiting the Jendruo Dam, KalpiBridge Murar, Jalalpur Bridge, Motijil and Tighra reservoir, he reached the proposed site and buildings under Smart City in Maharaj Bada area.
During inspection of the proposed development plan (River Front Development of Murar River) on either side of the Murar river, Collector Shri Rahul Jain said that walk-through (pedestrian) surveys will be conducted on either side of the Murar river. A joint team of Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Forest and Water Resources Department will be formed for this survey. He instructed that during the walk-through survey, the land mark on the revenue land must be inscribed compulsorily. Mr. Jain instructed to follow the orders of the National Green Tribunal on both sides of the river. As well as under the provisions of the city and village investment, 15 meters in the residential area on either side of the river and 30 meters in the non-residential area should not be constructed.
It is known that the initial DPR of the proposed development plan has been prepared on either side of the Murar river. About 332 crore works are proposed in DPR. In the first phase, it is proposed to lay the trunk line to prevent the retaining wall, the calverts culvert, river dehydration, the rehabilitation of the assets located in the river and to prevent the sewage flowing in the river at a cost of approximately 182 million 31 lakhs. In the second phase, carriageway, cycle track and rain drainage structure construction, pavement, a dozen foot overbridge compound wall, horticulture, agriculture and land scaping, street light and other development works will be done at a cost of around 150 crore.
The collector also said that plantation of trees in the area of ​​Ramoua Dam also can be done. He has asked the Chief Engineer Water Resources to provide information about the availability of water in the Ramaua Dam for supply of drinking water to the city. Rumaua Dame will be filled through the canals and tunnels connected to the Harshi dam. Mr. Jain also saw the proposed state-of-the-art and fully equipped park construction site for the residents near the Jadruruu Dam. Municipal Commissioner Shri Vinod Sharma said that DPR has also been prepared for this park.

By reaching the enclosure, the Victoria Bank also saw the restoration work of Victoria Market, the old post of Chief Post Office and Municipal Office, the Gorakhya Complex, State Bank Building, Town Hall, Government Press, Central Library etc. Also, here under the Smart City, to discuss the proposed work, the subject experts have discussed. The Collector also searched the possibilities for building a heritage hotel under the smart city on the Maharaj enclosure. He instructed the SDM LeT to prepare a list of other offices operating on the Maharaj enclosures, including the Gurkhi campus and prepare a proposal to shift them to any other building, so that the functions of Smart City on Maharaj Bada can be rendered uninterrupted. .
To understand the data status of the city's drinking water supply, the collector took stock of both the treatment plan 70 -70 MLD and the Tiger reservoir on Motijil. They came to know about the availability of water in the Tigra reservoir and its adjoining areas, Kakato and Upper Kakato reservoirs.
The collector and the Municipal Commissioner also knew the status of the works sanctioned and their locations under the Amrit Yojana, during the visit. Superintending Engineer PHE Shri RLS Maurya informed that under the Amrit Yojana, the tender for drinking water works of about 330 crore rupees has been completed. These works include 40 tanks of drinking water, 750 kms. A pipeline, 160 MLD Treatment Plant near Sharma form and 20 km for connecting this plant with Tiger. Pipeline insert is included. Tender for drinking water works will open on July 20 Similarly, Tender of Rs. 400 crores has been earmarked for sewage work. This tender will also open in July 350 km of sewage works The construction of separate sewage treatment plant near Sewer Line, Sharma Farm and Jendruo Dam is included.
