2017 International Yoga Day celebrated in Gwalior

Gwalior June 21, 2017 / In the Gwalior district along with the whole country and the world, there were collective yoga programs in village-village and city-city on 3rd International Yoga Day. Here, in the district level program organized at Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Union Panchayatiraj, Rural Development, Sanitation and Drinking Water Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Urban Development and Housing Minister Smt. Maya Singh of the state were also included. All participants in the program also heard the message of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh through AIR Radio.
When thousands of participants in LNIPE conducted yoga and pranayama at one point together, the whole atmosphere became yogic. Yoga has been practiced on the moment-time signs of getting through the Aakashwani in the district level yoga program. Collective Yoga has left a deep impression on yoga on the minds of people. For organizing group summit on LNIPE campus, large scale platforms were prepared for the convenience of organizing the mass group on the International Yoga Day. On whom Yoga instructors performed various yoga postures. Which was repeated by all the participants.
On this occasion, Union Minister Shri Tomar said that yoga has been an important part of the lives of Indians since ancient times. On the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the whole world has adopted the oldest mode of Indian culture. Also, the United Nations Convention has decided to celebrate Yoga Day on June 21 every year. He said through yoga, health, happiness, prosperity, self-esteem and peace will come in the whole world. Mr. Tomar said that it is a matter of great pride for the country that the whole world is acknowledging the ancient mode of our country.
The Urban Development and Housing Minister of the State, Smt. Maya Singh said that today the enthusiasm for yoga is made in the whole world. Yoga not only keeps us physically healthy but also keeps our mind happy. He said yoga can be an important contribution in the development of the family, society and the country. Smt. Maya Singh, on the occasion called upon Yoga to be included in the routine.
This yoga posture and pranayama done
Looking at Yoga postures being displayed by messages and yoga instructors getting momentary through Akashvani, the collective sum was achieved in LNIPE. The yoga instructor present on the main stage was done by Mr. Rishikesh Vashishta and other yoga gurus. Other yoga instructors also collaborated in this.
Yoga exercises were performed in cervical circulation, knee actions, tadasan, foothasasthan, semicircrassan, trikon posture, Bhadrasnasan, Shashankasan, Bockrasan, Makarasan, Bhujangasan, Shalbhasan, Setubandhasan, Pawanmuktasan and Shavasana. After this, all the participants of Kapalabhati, Anholom-Vilom, Brahmari and meditation have done pranayam.
Citation given to the organizations contributing to the program
At the end of the program, the Urban Development Minister, Smt. Maya Singh and other guests gave the citation and souvenirs to the representatives of the institutions contributing to the district level program. These include Snehalaya, World Yoga Center, District Yoga Association, Art of Living, Madhya Pradesh Naturopathy and College, Prajapati Bramhakumari Ishvari University, Patanjali Yog Samiti and Gayatri Parivar, JCI, Ramchandra Mission, Ramkrishna Mission, Anand Department, Vivekananda Kendra, Anand Kendra , Khera Bharati, Vidya Bharati, 7 Iworld School, Configuration Yoga Studios and Youth Brahmin Trade Association Etc. institutions are included. Initially the guests arranged the statue on Swami Vivekananda's statue. At the end of the program, guests were presented with souvenirs on behalf of the district administration.
They also exist in the main event
Other District Representatives including SAD President Mr. Rakesh Singh Jadoun, Municipal Councilor Mr. Rakesh Mahaur and Mr. Devesh Sharma participated in yoga and pranayam at district level function. Besides, Divisional Commissioner Mr. S N Roopla, LNIPE Vice Chancellor Mr. Dilip Dureha, Inspector General of Police Mr. Anil Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Santosh Kumar Singh, Collector Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Superintendent of Police Dr Ashish and Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Neeraj Kumar Singh and Additional Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan and Shri Shivraj Verma along with senior public servants were also present.
Initially the guests offered a wreath on the statue of Swami Vivekananda. The program was conducted by Assistant Project Coordinator of the District Education Center, Mr. SB Ojha.
Winners of the contest held on the topic of Yoga also received citation
In the painting competition organized on the occasion of World Yoga Day, Sohan Singh was first and Manish Baghel was second, essay titled Arvind Jatava I, Vaibhav Dube II and Nitesh Gurjar III. In the speech contest, Vaibhav Dubey I, Arvind II and Rahul Jha were given a citation of third place. In Ann Bhajalankar and Yogasana competition, Alka Rahora, Soumya Shukla and Himanshi Verma and Rahul Kushwaha, Ajay Kumar and Vikas Soni were honored in the online essay competition in LNIPE.
BSF celebrated World Yoga Day

BSF celebrated World Yoga Day
Here, the group Yoga was practiced on 3rd International Yoga Day at the Border Security Force Academy in Taknapur. On the Veerangana Lakshmibai Parade site, around 1200 people, including officers and jawans of BSF, made mass yogic practice by disciplining them. On this occasion, Additional Director General and Director of the Border Security Force, Border Security Force Academy, Technpur, Mr. Sunil Verma told the soldiers about the importance of yoga. He said that in the present perspective, the soldiers of Border Security Force have a great need for yoga for physical health as well as mental balance. He said the courage, courage and bravery of the soldiers are jewels, which can be molded through yoga. BSF Academy including BSF Medical Director Dr. S. S. Shrivastav, Inspector General, Mr. RS Manral and Retired Brigade Mr. Om Prakash, DIG Shri Ghanshyam Sharma, Mr. BS Rawat, Mr. Suresh Chand Yadav, Mr. E.J. Benat and Mr. K. Jat, Group of Youth. Other officers, men and their families have done yoga.
Yoga even under the auspices of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan
The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan also organized a group yoga program on World Yog Day in the main hospitality of Union Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar. Here the youth park, the glass mill road, the youth of Nehru Yuva Kendra and the local citizens in Biralanagar joined the yoga. On this occasion, the District Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra including RS Tomar and other office bearers of Nehru Yuva Kendra were present along with regional public representatives.
World Yoga Day also celebrated in CRPF training college
Here, at the Central Training College of Central Reserve Police Force located near Nayagaon, there is a collective yoga program on World Yoga Day. In which about one thousand train and jawans took part. The Chief Inspector General of Central Training College and Group Center, Shri R. P. Pandey and Deputy Inspector General, R.C. Meena also joined the group yoga program. On this occasion, Shri Pandey called upon the soldiers to make Yoga an integral part of life.
Collective Yoga in Central Jail
In the Central Jail, the collective yoga program was organized in the context of International Yoga Day. The special yoga program was started from June 7 to 21, by the Gwalior branch of the "Art of Living" organization. In which the prisoners also participated. In the program organized on World Yoga Day, the jail superintendent and all the prison staff and the prisoners organized mass yoga and pranayama.
