Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the condition of Corona in the state is under control. We will soon defeat Corona completely in the state with everyone’s cooperation. Best treatment of Corona has been ensured in the hospital. The mortality rate of Corona in the state is on the decline and we are making efforts to ensure that every Corona patient recovers and returns home.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona at the meeting of District Crisis Management Group in Gwalior. Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Ministers Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Smt. Imarti Devi, Shri Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Sansad Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, Divisional Commissioner Shri M.B. Ojha, Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade, Inspector General of Police Shri Rajababu Singh, were present.
Effective control over Corona in the district
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there is effective control over Corona in Gwalior district. The death rate here is also very low, one of the reasons os which is the strong immunity of the residents here. But for the last few days there has been a slight increase in infection. Crisis management group members should work in this regard keeping in mind the current circumstances. The infection should not spread at all.
Adhere to physical distancing norms in the market
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that markets should remain open but physical distancing should be ensured. Every person must wear a mask, and maintain adewuate distance between each other, must not spit anywhere and take all other precautions.
Arrangement of four thousand beds must be ensured
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that at least 4 thousand beds should be arranged in selected hospitals and isolation centres for treatment of Corona. Also, all medical arrangements including oxygen must be ensured in hospitals. Hospitals must also be fixed for treatment of other diseases.
Complete survey work till July 15
During the review, Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra directed that the survey work under Kill Corona campaign must be paced up and completed till July 15. Patients who have symptoms of Corona should be examined. He said that the campaign is bringing good results in the state. We will identify each Corona patient, treat them and free the state from Corona.
Pool Sampling work to be conducted to detect infection
Collector Shri Kaushalendra Vikram Singh informed in the meeting that pool sampling work is being done prominently to detect Corona infection in the district. So far, about 9 thousand pools have been sampled in the district, out of which only 25 cases are infected. The contact history of the infected has also been traced. It is clear from this that there is no such situation as community transition in the district.
Percentage of infection in district is 2.8
The Collector informed that the percentage of Corona infection in the district is 2.8. A total of 29 thousand patients have been investigated so far for Corona. Health check-ups are being conducted prominently in 30 fever clinics operating in the district. The cooperation of ward committees is being sought in the infected areas. People found moving without masks are being made aware and are being made to serve as Corona warriors.
